E-PARTY

Newly engaged and just starting with all the planning. How soon should the engagement party be? Got engaged July 6th!
Very excited and very busy.

an e-party can be whenever you want it and however you want it. We got engaged Sept 13, 2002 and our e-party is August 9

I think it depends on when you are getting married - If you are getting married in less than a year I would have it soon. If you have a while then there is no rush

We got engaged 4/20/02, our E-party is 04/26/03, and our wedding is 04/24/04

not sure if we're going to have one.
one reason is our best man was supposed to get married in 4 months, and it may not happen. (Mainly because of religion) so i feel bad. I know that that shouldn't matter and we should still enjoy our time and celebrate, but i'm not so sure we should have one..... FH may think otherwise though (he's psyched for a party)

Long story short, we may or may not have one this summer. If we do it'll be a small intimate bbq with close fam and friends and BP.

got engaged 02/14/03 and our e-party is 07-19-03...FMIL suggested it be at the one-year mark for our wedding day!

eparty can definately be whenever you want.... some people make it 1 year before the wedding, some make it right after your engaged, some people wait till its the summer..

Hello, Congratulations and Welcome!
We got engaged on 11-23-02 and we had our E-party on 6-21-03. We wanted to wait for summer and thought it was still appropriate because our wedding is not until next summer.
