For those that have done this, did you send an rsvp card or did you ask guests to call and rsvp. Just wondering what I should do with mine. I assume the location will give us about 1 wk notice toi give the final count.
Also how far back did you send out your invites? Thanks

Re: e-Party at locations rsvp ?
I sent out RSVP cards, and so far have had no problems.
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to add that the reason we sent RSVP cards is because we invited over 100 people (FH has a HUGE family). I think it would have been too much to deal with so many phone calls. So I think that it really depends on how many people you're having. If ours would've been small we would have definitely had people RSVP by phone (we would've saved a lot of stamp $$ that way)
We also went to Staples and bought Ampad wedding invitation packages and made our own invites. The packages also included RSVP cards.
We sent ours out last week, so we sent them about a month and a half ahead.

Re: e-Party at locations rsvp ?
I had a very informal dinner party. I made pretty invites on the computer and asked people to call to rsvp. My brother's was a much bigger party and he too had people call. We saved the formal response cards for the wedding invites.
I think we sent out the invites about a month or so before (mine was small 30 people - only imediate family).

Re: e-Party at locations rsvp ?
I included an RSVP card, as my mother did not want to deal w. tons of people calling her house. They are nice since I have them as momentos, but we had to call a # of people who did not realize that they were supposed to actually send the back. If its a small party, I would go w.out them, as the stamps and everything were a bit costly....

we had a large backyard affair, and had the RSVP read to call for regrets only.

Thanks all for your responses. Marcela1654--I am in the same boat as you 100+ people at the e-party! AAGGHH!!! I do agree on the overwhelming calls at home. My problem is my family is never home and my dad is the worst message taker! So to be safe I guess I should do the rsvp cards. Thanks all for your help.

Re: e-Party at locations rsvp ?
I had 200 people at my e-party... and the RSVP's by telephone worked out great.. it was easier to cope with (I had them leave a vmail) and had less # of people to call back... for those who's response cards got lost or something.. lol

I did a phone call RSVP, but I had about 40ish people. You might want to do an e-mail and/or phone call RSVP.

Re: e-Party at locations rsvp ?
After speaking with FH-the budget conscious consumer, we decided to use one of our cell phones voice mails as the number to call. Preferably mine. It would be cheaper and easier. One less thing to think about.... Thanks again all for your suggestions.

Re: e-Party at locations rsvp ?
I didn't think of the idea FH did!! He was so proud when I said: That is a good idea Besides the fact I rarely ever use my cell phone. So less that I have it turned off unless I need to use it. So callers would get voice mail immiedately.
