We are planning to have our e-party in my parents backyard in June, so were going to just be really casual with grilled foods and salads. However we have a guestlist of 70-100 (haven't decided how 'intimate' we want it lol) and we are thinking maybe we should hire caterers for some or all of the job.
Any idea of caterers that come and grill at your home? Or just caterers that would do BBQ type foods (steaks, chicken, potato salads, macaroni salads, etc)
Thanks!

If you want BBQ...maybe look into ordering from famous daves, and then just hiring someone to serve?

Bassett Caters in Brooklyn. DELICIOUS FOODS!! I have had them do most of my parties and all have been great. They do BBQ parties, where they cook the food for you. They do offer tastings and have different menus. VERY reasonable. Google them for their website to see their menus. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And they offer servers for set up, clean up and delivery too.

I've been to a backyard bbq w/ famous dave's food and it rocked.
I also live in Bay Shore and Smokin' Al's is awesome, but I'm not 100% if they cater. HTH

Re: E-party BBQ catering
Dinosaur BBQ in the city offers on site cooking and catering!
busco's in Rockville Centre does BBQ catering. We used them for our office picnics and they were really good. They will go from Manhattan to Montauk, so wherever your located is ok. We had steaks, chicken, salads, etc... and depending on what you want, they start at around $29 pp
They have this ADORABLE bbq package.. its 19.95 per person, with wait staff, and bbq food, its called the summer bbq package, i dont think theres even a person limit, if there is its 40 people i think
Too cute, check it out

We used Pelligrini's in Stewart Manor for our RD. They come and do all of the work - setup, cooking, cleaning, breakdown. You can even hire a bartender. They have everything from hot dogs to lamb chops, along with salads and desserts.

I'm not sure where you are located but I was at a party last summer catered by the owners of Long Beach Bagel Cafe and they did a great job. Had everything you could want and they took care of everything, and I even got a card for free bagels for being a guest.

idk where you are, but Division Avenue Caterers in Levittown is great. My FH's brother-in-law owns it and FH helps out there. Decently priced and food is fabulous

Re: E-party BBQ catering
We had a small family bbq for about 30 guests in my parent's backyard last summer. We used Pelligrini Meats. They bbq right there with their own girl and the food is never ending! We paid $30 a person and had lamb chops, burgers, hot dogs, shrimp, steak - really it was crazy! It came with salads, vegetables, fruit salads. Well worth it! I think they are in NHP or Garden City area. DELISH!

Re: E-party BBQ catering
My landlord did all of mine ... I could ask him how much he would want to charge if you'd like. We did a BBQ E-party also - brisket, burgers, dogs, wings, salads, everyone raved about it!
