I'm having my e-party the weekend after thanksgiving. I wanted to have CP's that were fall like because my wedding is in Oct. I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas that aren't too expensive.
I went to Ikea tonight and they didn't have nice vases that were cheap. I did buy 3 brandy glasses and 6 small red votives. I plan on putting red beads or rocks on the bottom of the brandy glasses and putting a candle in the middle.
Anyone have any other ideas?
My mom also sugessted putting Hydrangas in them, because I love those flowers.

Throw a pumpkin in there somewhere... and check out Michaels - they have tons of fall ideas. My FSIL, her e-party theme was 'Fall in Love' and she had wheat stalks tied together as her CPs... like this: (taken from KittyTheStray's album)
I bought a bunch of mums for centerpieces, and then they were favors for people when they left. Big hit.

We bought cornicopias and fake flowers from the dollar store. Really cheap and they came out nice. I don't have any picks though, but they were fun and easy.

what about candles?
they brighten up a room, give it a soft romantic glow and are relatively inexpensive depending on how u use them ....
I looked at your CP ideas. Are those your vases with the candle and rose petals? I'd love to know where to get those, they are perfect.

My CP for my wedding were mums in the pots on the table. I covered the pots with some materal. My guest loved being able to take home a living cp that they could keep.

they CP itself looks really cool, i think they have marbles and than candles embedded in them and the they do seem like Vases not candle holder...same vases but different sizes filled with perhaps, beads marbles...so their is an imbalance of the size of the candles...
they are not my idea =( so im not really sure where to get them...but perhaps you can try any crafts store...?
