Oh God...Please dont remind me!!!! (LOL) Umm well depending on what you are looking for- long or short- really dressy or no so dressy...will effect where you should look. Nordstrom had nice dresses and a large selection online (check online first because they dont have all the dresses in the store) none of them were my style, bloomingdales was very nice for long dresses- Macys had nothing(no surprise there for me)...What exactly are you looking for?

I had big problems a few months ago looking for a dress for a wedding. They had alot of nice dresses at Estelle's. Most department stores usually have a great selection. I finally ended up finding a dress at a boutique in queens.

I actually found the dress for my engagement party at jc penny's in smithaven mall. i got it right after i booked the e-party and it ended up being on sale.(party is in less two weeks!!!)
i wouldnt count penny's out. but i would def suggest jessica mcclintock too. i have a few dresses from her and they are resonably priced.
