I am so undecided on what type of favors and center pieces i should do for our e party..people have suggested std magnets but my fh thinks its tacky and i dont want to spend a fourtune either..and with the center pieces i have no ideas of what to do, it will be a backyard party in august and my fh thinks that flowers are not a good idea in case it is a very hot day..any suggestions??
Our eparty is at the end of August. It's an 'elegant backyard BBQ' being catered (where they bring the grill and cook it for you there- steak, lamb, chicken breast, etc...) for about 50-70 people. We are having a DJ. My parents have a huge deck that goes from one end of the house to the other and two of those roll-up awnings which are blue & white striped. So our color scheme will be white, blue, and yellow. Our invites do not match the color scheme, but they do go with our theme. We're renting 6 round tables that seat 8. On our table we will have either the mason jar CP or the clay pot CP and maybe more around the railing on the deck. We might put up some white lights too. Our favors are ecru colored boxes with 10 Hershey's hugs & kisses in them (which will have stickers with our names on them). There will be yellow and blue curling ribbon to wrap the box with a tag that reads 'Hugs & Kisses from the Future Mr. & Mrs.' We plan on mailing out our STDs (like .40/each from vistaprint.com) with our thank you notes.
