So FH and I decided to have our e-party this summer because we got engaged so close to the holidays, then it was my busy time at work so it was the most convienent.
So we decided to do it on the 4th of july and have a big bbq...I have a cute favor idea and found cute invatations but does anyone have any decorating ideas im at a loss....
I want to try to stay away from flags and just use the colors red white and blue.
Thanks!!

Re: E-Party Ideas...
You can always use balloons in those colors. You can always have a fireworks theme. . . Look in Party City or a store like that they have plenty of 4th of July stuff.
I'm having my e-party the week after you and I got engaged in December/ January too. I haven't even starting thinking about decorations - I mean besides balloons.

Re: E-Party Ideas...
just some more ideas- but you could get rid of flags.
I'm having my E party in July as well and I got engaged in January. I'm thinking I'm just going to go for Wedding themed decorations. My mom bought us a bunch of stuff when we had FMIL and some of her family over, so we've got half the things we need already! I don't know about you, but I would hate to not be able to decorate with wedding things and have to stick with a red white and blue theme. If you're really dead set on it, try mixing it up with some summer stuff too. things having to do with the pool, a beach, the tropics, etc.

Re: E-Party Ideas...
what if you do Like cute little CPs in red gerber daisies they are cute summer flower and do like blue table clothes and red and white napkins... or white table cloths and do blue napkins
you could get a cute vase from the dollar store, target, or ikea and put a bunch of them in the vase...

Re: E-Party Ideas...
How about the rope lights in the colors you want. They sell them around then at maybe BJs or walmart or whereever they sell holiday stuff. Put them around the top of the tent. Then have the stars hanging from the top of the tent. Then I would put white x-mas lights on any bushes and trees/fences that you have. In the center of the tables maybe do a circle jar with the color bead things you want inside and then a candle in the middle.
