I am having my e-party at my house tomorrow and I have been running around like a lunatic trying to get everything done! My FI just started the police academy last week and he is so busy with that that he can't help at all-- I never knew so much preparation went into have a party at your house. There sure is something to be said for sucking it up and spending a bit more money and having it out someplace!

we didn't have one, but if we had I would have done it at a restaurant. I personally dont enjoy throwing 'house' parties.
And, I don't think they cost that much less. I would pay the extra money in a heart beat.

I just survied mine June 25, of 2005. I had mine at a park. I had to buy food, and get there someone how and set everything up. I spent my last dime on the whole thing, but thankfully we made it up in gifts. Just try to relax. Once it starts, it goes by quick. Heck I got my FMIL drunk, and everything was fine. It was after the E-party did she spill her vedum.
