Our original plan was to have it at FIL's house because they live on the water and it's beautful there, but the guest list keeps growing and it's going to be too many people for a backyard bash.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a Eastern Nassau/Western Suffolk place that is not super expensive? Preferrably with an outdoor area, but all ideas are welcome!!

Captain Bill's does a GREAT brunch and overlooks the water. Not $$$ either from the last time I inquired about a brunch party.

Captain Bills in Bay Shore. They have an outside, and, I'm pretty sure they're not bad. My mom went to a party there last weekend -- loved the food.

prime in huntington or 105 on the harbor in cold spring harbor, both on the water and very nice.

Riverview (I think that's what its called) in Oakdale, it's a little more middle suffolk though.

Sergios in massapequa is good and very affordable, but no outdoor area
Maybe Runyouns in East Meadow. I'm not sure how large their outdoor area is, but they are about $22 pp.
