E-party question

Could anyone sugguest a restaurant (in Nassau or Suffolk) for our e-party? We'd like to invite about 50 people and don't want to break the bank!

Re: E-party question

What about a VFW or Knights of Columbus? The Knights of Columbus' in Bellmore and Oceanside do in house catering and have dance floors. My FH cousin had his in an American Legion Hall and hired one of those casino companies to bring in tables and slot machines. I had to work but I heard it was alot of fun.

Re: E-party question

I'm not sure how expensive it is, but Jonathan's on Jericho Tpke in Garden City Park is very nice. They even have a private room.

Re: E-party question

I've never been to it, but I hear Marconi Manor (Islip) has packages starting at $20 per head!

I guess Molly Malone's (bay shore, I think) has decent packages as well.

Re: E-party question

I have not been to a party at this place, but know of 1 person who had their E-Party and another who had her bridal and baby showers here, and I was going to have my E-party there, but the date I wanted was not available.

Pompei in West Hempstead. VERY affordable and VERY nice. Not far from the Southern State Parkway.

A few other suggestions, that I looked into...
-George Washington Manor
-Verdi's (my friend looked there for her small wedding 40-50 people)
-if you are open to afternoon, check out Bertucci's or Baci (sp?)
-Holiday Inn at Westbury- I had my FSIL's bridal shower there, and inquired about my E-party there, talk to Laurie (tell her Jill sent you). They have a restaurant and rooms.
-New Hyde Park Inn-again, affordable and nice. I have not been there, but received quotes for my E-party.

Good Luck. In case you're wondering, I ended up booking The Beach Club, for my E-Party (Queens). It's in Rockaway Park, on the boardwalk. It's a beautiful place, if you were considering Queens.

-Jill

Re: E-party question

How about Wickers in Hicksville? I might have my rehearsal dinner there.

Re: E-party question

I had mine at Brindisi's Italian Restaurant in Westbury---right near Westbury Music Fair.

I never had so many compliments from my guests on how Delicious the food was, and how great the service was.

And Reasonable beyond Belief!

Re: E-party question

Ours was at the Lucky Duck in Garden City it was prettu reasonable.

Our RD is at Pomodorino in New Hyde Park, also reasonable.

Both are more restaurant than party hall so if you want a dance floor they won't work.

Re: E-party question

Giardinos in little neck. The food is awsome and the have 2 private rooms. The larger one can only hold up to 50 people though.

We had our sons baptism dinner there. It was only $32.50 a plate and they gave us so much food, cake, and unlimited beer wine and soda.
