How many people did you have for your engagement party? Was this large compared with how many you had for your wedding or much smaller? What did you do for your e-party? Who must be invited (I know you don't invite anyone not invited to the wedding but who do you HAVE to invite so as not to offend?

We had 120 people (including kids) and will have around 200 for the wedding. We invited only family and very close family friends (FH has a huge family, most of the people were on his side). We did not invite co workers.

Our e-party was in the hall behind the fire house in Bellmore it was really nice we will be having 200+People at our wedding and only invited about 80-100 to our e-party just family and close friends. no one who will not be invited to the wedding and noone that talks to other people IE... ure friend at work but not ure other friend (if that makes sense)We had food catered and a DJ. And an open Bar. We had balloons for centerpieces and Candles I bought at the 99 cent store and I made the choclate bar covers thats all simple.

We did a small backyard party. Invited about 60 and 50 came. We are inviting about 200 to the wedding. We stuck to closest friends and immediate family for the e-party.

We are having about 100 guests for our e-party (close friends and family only). It is next Sunday at Chateau Briand...pretty formal affair. For the weddding we don't know how many people yet...anywhere from 150-200.

All we had was immediate family and our bridal party. We didn't want people to feel obligated to bring gifts but most gave us some cash anyway. We had about 45 people at the E party, 250 invited to our wedding.

We are having about 100 at the e-party at Coral House April 18, 2003. At the wedding we are having about 225. At the e-party we are inviting close family members, not the cousin of FH's mom's mom that FH's mom only sees once every 5 yrs. Also our close friends, and our parents close friends-friends we normally see all the time and talk to on a regular basis.
