Did you guys invite your entire guest list to the E-Party or just certain people (like family & close friends)??? I have 313 people on my guest list but some are my parent's and FMIL's people. Do they all really need to be invited?????
TIA

Re: E-Party Question
I actually only invited close family and friends. The trick is that every one you invite to the Eparty pretty much needs to be invited to the wedding. but you can TOTALLY invite people to the wedding who weren't at the eparty.

Re: E-Party Question
There was no way we could have invited our whole guest list to the e-party, that would have been crazy!! We cut it down to immediate family members ( we both have HUGE!!! families) and immediate friends -- bridal party friends. With the list cut down we still invited 165 people... ahh!!! You definetly do not have to invite your whole guest list, if anyone asks or is offended just tell them that you are having a close intimate party with your family and close friends, they will understand!

Re: E-Party Question
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! Only close fam and friends! Keep in mind that the people on your preliminary guest list will change between now and your wedding date! Some of the people you want to invite now, will most likely change down the line. You'll also come across others that you might grow close with that you may want to invite and aren't on your list now.
Just know that the people that you invite to your Eparty will be def expecting anf invite to the wedding!!

Re: E-Party Question
we just did family - went as far out at first cousins - no kids - and our bridal party. It gets too out of control if you invite everyone - then becomes like having two weddings

You could also do a more informal type party without the sit-down. Do it at someone's house or backyard all set up and this way you won't have to pick and choose and you can say it is an 'open house' to come between 2-6 or whatever...

I was thinking that too but it's getting cold really quickly so decided to do it at a hall instead

Re: E-Party Question
Traditionally an e-party was for the bride and groom's immediate families to meet, so i think it's safe to say that you shouldn't invite your entire guest list... just close family, BP and close friends... HTH!

Re: E-Party Question
We are inviting about 185 to the wedding and invited about 85 to the e-party. We only wanted our close fam and friends at the e-party.

Re: E-Party Question
We only invited the people in our wedding party and our parents friends. We didn't even invited family because the list was out of control. It was the best way to keep our numbers down.
