FH and I booked our E-Party 2 months ago. We told every single person that is in our bridal party the date and time of the party. Just now, I asked my friend for her address in an email. She writes back 'When is your party? I know it's in June but I hope it's not the 14th.' I am sitting here at my desk thinking ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME????? I told her and her boyfriend who is our GM. They both said they'd be there and now apparently he has something in his family. I understand that family commitments are important but I told them 2 months ago right after we booked the place. I gave them plenty of notice. They assured me that they would be there- no problem. So, now they are going to come but may have to leave early. Am I insane for getting upset about this?

Re: E-Party Rant!
You aren't wrong for getting upset, but sometime things slip peoples minds even when you tell them in advance. I haven't asked anyone to be in the bridal party yet and plan on doing it at the e-party. I sent out an email in March letting everyone know of the party (in July). I will send out the invites soon and I am sure I will get people saying similar things. The summer is a busy time for people and I just have to expect some people not to come.

I agree. I know that even this day I am having my party on is very busy. I expected people not to come but was counting on my bridal party to be there. *Sighs* Oh well.

hey at least they said they will show up for a part of it - instead of not showing up at all

Re: E-Party Rant!
My e-party fell on a good friend's birthday, and she came for a while and then we met up later at a bar, after the party. It was no biggie. I was glad she came at all but left early. Everyone else still had a blast and no one noticed that she'd left.

Yeah, if they show up you will still be able to get pictures with them. I'd rather someone show up for a little while than not at all.

Re: E-Party Rant!
I would be upset...One of my bms did not come to my eparty and I was very upset with her! (her bfs grandfather died) But in the end...the party was great- and there were so many other people there- you wont even notice they are missing!

I don't blame for you being upset....but to give your friend credit at least they are not blowing off your Eparty completely. At least they will be there for some of the fun.
Hope this makes sense

One of my BMs missed mine too... she said she had to go to a conference in Cali. Looks like she's probably going to miss my bachelorette party too...
hope she wont miss the wedding!

No its annoying when that stuff happens. But unfortunately it does. At least they will come for some of it.
