E-party suggestions

Mom is planning an e-party for FH and I in August. FH and I are hoping to go to Hawaii four our HM, so she wants to have a Hawaiian/luau theme and being that it'll be in August, its a great theme. Any ideas/suggestions on how to incorporate the theme into the party? TIA!!

Re: E-party suggestions

My friend had hers at the 'Dublin Deck' - it's in Patchogue, I think. I tried to find the link to their site, but I think it's down 'cause they're redesigning it. Anyways, it was really cute because they had it outside on the deck & there were tiki umbrellas on the tables & a surfboard table, etc. so the place itself really added to the luau theme. They also bought leis & flowers from Oriental Trading, I think, and handed them out to all of the guests as we came in & they had a DJ playing reggae & caribbean music. Everyone was in hawaiian shirts & dresses so it was REALLY cute. If it's not too far from you, you might want to check it out. It's not a fancy place, but it's definitely a fun place to have it. Good luck!
