My E-Party is next weekend(!!!) and my FH and I have been discussing possible thank you gifts for our parents. Is this necessary for the E-Party since we plan on giving nice gifts for the wedding? Any ideas??? One thought we had was a gift certificate for each set at the restaurant in which we're having the party (The Three Village Inn).
Any advice is very very welcome!

Hi, as a mom a 'gift' is not necessary for any part of the wedding. IMO a card and a hug and kiss is really enough. My daughter and son in law did get us and his parents tickets to a show and dinner as a thank you for all that we did and gave it to us at the rehearsal dinner but it really wasn't necessary at all. Just as you brides look to get married in a special way since you are little as moms we wish that for you as well. Just enjoy the process and say thank you.

Wow never thought of this until now. Mine is in a few weeks. I don't think I will but if anyone has some cute CHEAP ideas that would be great.

Thanks for the advice! Perhaps in keeping it affordable we can send very nice thank you cards and make sure to get a family shot which we can frame and give as a gift afterwards?!

I wanted to thank our parents too.
So after the eparty...i uploaded all of our pics that people had taken, chose the best ones and made collages on Snapfish. they were like 7$ each and I got frames at Kohls. Plus, you ask to pick them up at staples and they are ready in 24 hours!
I chose some different pics for each album.
Our parents all loved them and hung them up immediately.

Our E-Party was last weekend. We got our parents GC to dinner. They loved it. The big gifts will come for the Wedding.
