E-PARTY, VENITIAN HOUR?

I'm heading to our engagement party local tonight to go over the dinner details for our E-Party... orginially we booked a four hour party and an extra hour for venetian hour.

We didnt want to do this for the wedding, so i thought it would be nice touch for our engagement party... but is this worth it?!

We just realized we booked the dj for only four hours.. so that means we would have to use him for the extra hour also even though the venetian hour is in a seperate room?!

what do you think?

I would def to the VH for the wedding and not the eparty. For the eparty you can do trays on sweets on the tables

I was just going to say this. You should ask the place if they'd put 'tiered tray' of pastries, fruit or other little desserts on the tables when they serve coffee. VH I associate more with a bigger event.

Yeah I wouldn't even bother....jsut put a few sweets out or something- you could even do a candy bar, but I wouldn't go for the whole VH thing- save it for the wedding

VH for eparty i would pass...(and i am having a 200pp eparrty sit down dinner in a hall) cookies and mini pastries on the table plus the cake is perfect for an eparty...
mine is a friday night dec 7th from 8-1...we have a little cocktail hour in the beginning of passed horderves (sp?)...

i am going to make chocolates too for the tables

i know i am having a BIG eparty but i want it more of a FUN gathering more informal then the wedding

but it is your eparty and if you want the VH go for it...it would be more appriciated at the wedding though....
