E-party yesterday

We had our engagment party yesterday and it was so nice! We kept it small - just immediate family and close friends. Our families had a great time together. We got some beautiful gifts. One of our favorites made everyone at the party cry. My grandmother passed away a few years ago and it still feels like it was yesterday. It's really hard not having her here during all of the wedding planning. So aside from my aunt's own gift, she bought us toasting flutes from Tiffany and in the card put that they were from my grandmother with her picture in it and wrote that she would be watching over us that day. It was beautiful but they passed the card around and every person that read it started to cry. FH's family must think we're nuts!

aww.... that is soo sweet.. kinda made me tear up just reading it.. my grandfather also passed a couple years ago and it is really hard not having him here..
