We have finally started planning the eparty and we were wondering if you are supposed to do anything special during the party? Does anyone make speeches or anything like that?? We are having a very informal party at a firehouse, so we dont know if we have to do anything like that. We are clueless haha

FBIL, made a great improtu speech at ours. it was just a backyard bbq, but the speech was very nice. i wouldn't ask anyone to do it, but if someone wants to, its ok. then a few years ago i was at a friend e-party and the brides dad made a little speech.

I dont think you have to do anything special. We had a smaller eparty (42 guests) and we just had a matted picture frame that people signed, my dad gave a short speech, and I said a few words too and then gave out 'Bridesmaid survival kits' to my girls! But nothing formal was done. The restaurant cut the cake, we didnt, no champagne toast or anything...it was relaxed and fun.
