E-Pic Doubts

I haven't gotten my e-pics back yet, but FH and I are kinda doubting out photography choice. We really loved our photographer the day of our e-pics, but we were a little upset because he only spent about 40-45 minutes with us. We did get a variety of shots, but I would have liked more. From what I read on this site it seems like the shoot usually lasts longer than that. Also, I have seen other pictures from the same photographer in the same area where we took ours, and they are virtually identical to the places, shots, etc. that we took. I feel a little about it all.
Any suggestions on what I should do? Should I wait to get the pics back before doing anything?

i would wait until you get them back-i think 45 min is actually nice-ours spent like 20 with us..

i feel like photogs will repeat shots for epics that they know work, bc i think they're trying out different positions, etc. to see what works best for you and fh

I am taking my e-pix tomorrow with Alberto.

I would wait until you see the pictures before making a move - like everyone said you may actually like them all!

On a side note - did you tip them for the session?

I'm sure they will be! We're prob just overthinking the whole thing I'm soooooo anxious to see them. I hope I dont have to wait 8 weeks like they told us!

ye I am with everyone else. best to wait and see the final product. its not the time they spend on u its the quality of the pix.
and I havent seen any pix from any of Duet photogs that didnt look awesome

I took them around DUMBO and the Brooklyn Bridge area.

Don't be nervous!! Alberto is awesome and I have never seen bad pictures come out of him. The shoot will be fun and you'll get great pics. I didn't want to get anyone nervous!! Where are you taking your pics?

I think 45 minutes is pretty typical!!

If you look at ANY photographer you'll feel the same way. Duet photographers use the same poses...Thomas Paul e-pics are all identical (and all in the same place-Sunken Meadow)...I think they just have a repertoire.

This is where we took ours also, but with Nick. Great locations, the pics will be gorgeous!

remember, you picked the photog for a reason. cuz you liked his portfolio. so if you liked it and that is why you booked him, i think you would be disappointed if a lot of those same shots (that work!) were not recreated.

dont worry. wait till you get the pics. im sure they will be fab!
