So this Friday we are talking out engagement photos! First we are going to the park for a picnic. I got all sorts of cute props including a pretty blanket, a picnic basket, our little portable record player and a bunch of our records. Then well be walking around Williamsburg, Going to a pretty cafe and then a record store.
I am SO stressed about this shoot. I have spent so much time looking at engagement photos on the blogs. I'm just stressed that our photos wont be as pretty as all the shoots i have seen online. Our photographer is AMAZING so it's not his abilities I'm worried about. What if I look ugly! What if my outfit isn't cute enough! Maybe I'm not thinking of props that could make our photos even cuter.
Did you girls get this stressed out? I don't know how to calm down! I'm seriously not going to sleep thursday night. I just want everything to be perfect.
And THIS is why i have a wedding planner. I would be this crazy X8zillion if i didn't have her to calm me down and help lol

I feel you on your stress!!!! I have been stressing about my LA shoot too!!!! I have 3 different outfits to coordinate plus props that I still haven't bought.
I'm sure everything will look awesome and I cant' wait to see your epics!!!!!!! You are going to look great.

My e-pics are on Thursday. I'm starting to stress out too. One day last week it said it was going to rain, and I almost just freaked out over it. Right now the forcast is looking better at least.
It sounds like you're really prepared so I don't think you have anything to worry about. You're making me nervous that I'm not prepared enough now though Try not to stress out too much, I'm sure they will turn out great!!

Thanks girl!!! Yea the outfits I have. FH still has to buy his. Im planning on buying some props while my stop in mexico. I'm excited though

Reading this is so funny. You're def well prepared. If you make it look too stage then how natural do you think your faces are going to look in contrast? My biggest worry is that I wont be as slim as I want to by the time we take ours. Im not putting too much thought into it. I just want it to be enjoying for the both of us, if I start bringing several outfits and props FH will tell me he's staying home. LOL.

Please don't stress, it will be so much fun! Just be yourself and natural. A tip I wish someone told me: If you feel uncomfortable with the direction of the photographer don't do it.. we had so many serious pics and I was waiting for him to tell us to smile and we barely have any happy photos because of this. If your happy, smile and act natural.

i know how you feel. my shoot is saturday and my photographer for my e-pics is my FH's friend.
he's good at taking pics but i'm not sure hes so professional. and i want professional beautiful photos. but were giving it a shot. i figure if i don't like the pics there's always time to do another....maybe a free one thrown in fro my actual wedding photographer.
but you shouldnt stress! your photographer will capture all good moments :) have fun with it!

umm I wwas completely stressing out too, second guessing my outfit the week before. Plus I was afraid there wouldn't be one good picture, b/c FH and I are both shy and I hate being in pics. But once it was over I was so glad we did it, I actually love almost every shot! Your shoot sounds like it will be amazing, love all the props ideas, just try and have fun with it!
