I wasn't planning on doing mine until next year and Duet suggest that I wait until closer to the wedding date. Should I do them this year instead? My wedding is in July 2010 and I was planning on taking them in May, now I'm not sure because I see that so many people took theirs already. FH lives in FL and his job isn't flexible so he doesn't get to come to NY often. What do you suggest?

I already ordered my STD's because I want to send them out by next month, the reason I was waiting is because I am using one of the pics as my sign in board so I wanted a very recent pic.

We are doing ours next week...we decided to do them now because I really wanted Summer pictures....I think its all preference.
We are taking ours this Aug and not getting married until 2011. We are not using them for any particular reason for the wedding but the photographer threw them in for free. FH and I dont really have many nice pictures together because one of us is always taking the pictures
We weren't going to take e-pics and then we decided to and now I wish we would have taken them sooner so we could have displayed them at our e-party and on our wedding website.
I think it depends on what you're planning on using them for. But there might be so much to do 2 months before the wedding, that if you can get them done now, it might be better either way.

I took mine already with Duet and my date is almost 3 weeks after yours...take them when you want, based on what type of weather you want (season-wise)
you can do them when you feel you want to do them. I plan to do them sometime next year in the spring probably.
I am waiting to do min until next summer. I had a different reason though I was hoping to grow out my hair and lose a little more weight. My photographer told me I can do them whenever I want.
