Up until today the forecast for this Friday said it was going to be sunny. Now that it is almost the day before my e-shoot, they changed the forecast to scattered thunderstorms Should I reschedule? The only reason why i did it this day is because FH starts his new job next week and he won't be able to take off on a weekday, which is when the e-shoots are offered.

Re: e-pics advice
Hmmm does it say if there will be showers all day or maybe just daytime or at night?

Re: e-pics advice
maybe you could find a place inside for the shoot...the photographer may have ideas. Unfortunately, this may happen again if you reschedule. Sorry...not much help. Good luck!

They only offer 2 places to have the pictures taken, or in the studio and I really don't want to do it there

Re: e-pics advice
There is an amazing home in Lloyd Harbor where 15 interrior designers each designed one room (it's some type of competition) why not have your e-shoot there indoors? Is Llyod harbor too far?
BTW: my other friend who's working on a photography project went to & is using those shots for a project, so I know your allowed to take pics.
this is included in your package, and you already have a day booked, I'm just trying to offer back up ideas

thanks but the photographer won't go to just any location, they give you a choice of 2. Sounds like a nice place though

I don't know, every weather forecast is different. I hate weather people, can they ever make up their minds?

I'd wait and see...I almost re-scheduled our epics because it was supposed to be rainy and cloudy and I absolutely love the way the sky looks in the background of our epics...check out some of them in my profile.

Ok, Jess let's find the positive, let's get creative w/ set dressing, if you have to have your shoot in his studio.. A backdrop, s few props & you'll have great pics from your e-shoot

Thanks, your e-pics look beautiful. I don't mind if it's just not a nice day but if it's pouring I have a problem. I tend to get a massive fro, it's not pretty.

Re: e-pics advice
Friday: A few showers early, followed by isolated thunderstorms later in the day. High 77F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%. Friday (24 hours): Scattered thunderstorms possible. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the low 60s.
if its mid afternoon or early afternoon actually it might be ok, doesn't really sound that bad

Re: e-pics advice
This is exactly what happened to me. I wanted to get the shoot in before I started work. I would email your photographer and ask what he/she thinks....and to see if he can think of alternatives if it does rain.
(btw...i ended up changing the date...my original date turned out to be the weekend of the nor'easter!)

ALSO JESS!!! if you get it right after the storm clears the pics can come out quite beautifully, here are some pics, I LOVE the way the sky looks in these pics
you girls are great! Thanks denise, those pictures are very cool. My pictures are at 12 on friday so hopefully no one will have to see the fro

well sounds like it will be just early in the morning so by then hopefully it will stop
and if not you make the most of it, like in the pics i posted the sky looks pretty cool so you can still have great pics, maybe a few under the umbrella or in the rain can be romantic hahaha seriously though it can.
