E pics- location, time and a random question...

Hi! So we're doing our e pics on Wednesday 9/18. We just visited the planting fields for the first time this past week and we LOVED it! I'm pretty sure we'll be doing it there (working on permit), but I had a question about time of day. Ideally I wanted pics taken at end of afternoon into dusk, but I think the park closes at 5.

A couple of questions:

Does anyone know if you can stay at The Planting Fields later than 5?

What time did you take your pics?

This is somewhat off topic- but did you tip your photographer and if so, how much??

we took our pics at jones beach at around 530/6, just as the sun was setting for good pics. Alot of photographers don't like to take pics in the middle of the day because if it's too sunny the pics dont come out as well. We tipped our photographer $40, initally we were gonna do like $25 but she did such a good job so we added another $15 because that's all the cash we had with us haha

We were going to take our epics at the Planting Fields but it rained on that day, we ended up taking them a month after in Port Jeff.
I would suggest to contact the person in charge at the PF since the schedules are set by season.
Our pics were taken at 2pm and since the epics were included in our package, we tip about $50 to our photographer. Hope it helps!

we took ours in Brooklyn Bridge park from 6-8. We tipped 50.

The place we're taking ours closes at 6. I wish it was open til 730 because I want those pretty dusk pictures too! But it will be gradually getting darker when your date comes up. I am doing mine from 4-5:45ish (have to get out before they lock us in lol!)
