So FH and I are meeting our photographer in a few weeks to start discussing our engagement pics. Does anyone have any unique ideas? FH was thinking the beach, but everyone does the beach. I want to be really prepared when we go in there. If I could find a happy medium, like some at the beach, some at another location that could be cool too, so that way FH can have what he likes as well.

thats a cute idea!!
doesnt the surf club let you take pics at that park nearby?? and its righto nt he water so you have the best of both worlds!
i also like when couples take pics outside of stores in nyc and in the street.... the cobblestone streets in soho are soooooo perfect for this!

we are doing central park since we live right near it...i think it will be really pretty in the spring/summer to have our e-pics there.

We are going to do Roosevelt Island, which is where I live. It is very nice over the summer with a good view of the NYC skyline, plus my father is the super in the building so we'll be able to get on the roof for some nice pics as well...

we are probably going to do downtown brooklyn and battery park area in the spring. i wanted to go to Brooklyn Botanical Gardens but i heard you need a special permit if you are taking pics. although one of the photogs i spoke with said we can try a covert operation first and see if we get caught!
