Does anyone have any reccomendations for locations of engagement shoots - beaches and parks? Also, what types of outfits should my fh and I wear? Colors? Patterns? Thanks!

we're taking them in downtown brooklyn. We love the city but it I was told it is too hectic to take pics there so we're doing it in Brooklyn.
I hear Sunken Meadow is nice for e-pics. Your photog should be able to give you some good suggestions. Thats how we got Brooklyn.

We are doing Central Park for our epics! I decided on a neutral colored sun dress for the 'formal' ones and he is going to wear a white linen button down and khaki colored linen pants. We are both wearing black shirts and jeans for our informals. I don't know who your photographer is, but if you want ideas, go to Duetphotography.com and look under thier casual photos- you will see a bunch of places and different attire people wore. Good luck!

we took ours at Central Park....I loved them all! check out my pics in my album.
Our photographer suggested what colors to wear.....he has the best eye! you should call your photographer and ask him what would photograph well with your skin tone

We took ours at the beach and both wore shades of blue to match the water. Since I knew the beach would be windy, I made sure I wore a dress that wasn't going to fly up and reveal more than I wanted to! I also think solid colors are better because they aren't so busy and distracting when people are looking at the photo.
