K ladies so im having trouble trying to figure out what to wear for our engagement pictures. They are in a week next monday with Patken! I had a nice vest that i got the FH to wear with like a white shirt and jeans he could do that was going more casual...and then im like well what the hell do i wear? I saw some people wore a dress and stuff but idk if i was making him more casual i feel like that would look werid??what did you guys wear or plan on wearing? ahh idk ladies need some help here please

Pics are in album... we went very casual... I wore dark jeans, a black shirt with my burgundy converse sneakers and FH wore jeans, a collared shirt and his Timberland boots. We just really wanted to be 'us' in the pictures - laid back and casual.

hey ang, I was thinking did you decide on a what type of setting you were using for the e-pics. That would probably help with your decision. I remember Kayla and Jill used the same one and I thought their spring dresses looked very nice for that. But I know patken had other back drops available.

we also went casual. We just did ours on Saturday so I dont have any to show you, but I wore dark jeans, a grey long sleeve tshirt and yellow pumps. FH wore jeans and a button down with a quarter zip sweater over. My photog told us that if its sunny you want to avoid bright whites and blacks because of something with the light. Hope you find something you like! have fun at your pics!

ha ha thats funny i am trying 2 dresses right now that i borrowed from FSIL one is white with a brown buckle.. and one is pink black orange and white with a pattern... i have mine 2 weeks from today w/ patken i really have no clue either

When I met with Patken to discuss pricing they showed us where they take the e-pics and they said that the back drops can be turned around to show something else. Also, you can do plain backdrops. I vaguely remember one of the back drops was of sunflowers and a swing. very spring looking. I thought they also had a fireplace scene.

im planning on wearing a nice long sundress...and my fh is wearing a polo & shorts...its in june so its kinda what we wear all summer long anyway

i think you guys should be comfortable. dress as you always would... maybe as if you were going to a nice dinner out?
or possibly bring a quick change of clothes, so you can possibly get 2 sep/diff shots..

FH wants me to wear a dress but I am kinda blah about looking for one
