E-pics-should we bother?

E-pics-should we bother?

FH and I planned to take e-pics in the fall but it never happened.

Now i was thinking of taking some in a park..wintery type of thing.

Our photog is not expensive for epics and I would like to work w/ him before the wedding and learn to pose, etc..

Is it to late- should we bother?

Based on Debi and Fred's experience, you're not too late!! They got rained out and because there was no indoor backup plan, they are now scheduled for May 22nd; Can't get any closer to a June 21st wedding than that!! Mary MOB

i think that's totally up to you.
if you don't mind spending the money i think it's a great thing to do b/c it helps you get comfortable with your photographer.
plus, if you are anything like FH and myself, you guys might not have any 'nice' pictures of you, and it's cool to have some to display other than wedding photos.

if it's a reasonable expense, i say go for it.

We are going to take them at a portrait studio and putting the picture on the guest book table!

Never too late..we were supposed to do it in the summer and never got around to it.. some of my friends never bothered but I LOVE pictures, why not i say!

I think so if you want, I love how our e-pics came out. We have a large pic that we are going to have on display near the guestbook table, and we even made a combination photo album/guestbook of our e-pics instead of just a regular guest book. There's a lot of things that you can do with them. So if you have the time and the money, and think that you will use them, I think that it is worth it.

we took ours a month before the wedding, and i'm very glad we did. they're nice to have, and also the opportunity to work with your photog before hand is priceless.

Definitely do them....it helps so much to know how your photog works and how he/she will pose you. That comfort level definitely will come through in your photos on the day of.

We decided to add on e-pics to our photo package not only to get to know our photographer a bit better, but also because we have so few GOOD photos of us. all of our photos are taken by regular folks who barely know how to use a digital (or analog) camera...we're lucky that a handful of them aren't blurry!

I don't think it's too late. Do them not only will it be fun but like you said at least you get to work with your photographer before the wedding and WE WANT TO SEE THEM

Yes you should def do them! I have to still do mine too! But I havent booked my photographer yet. Its not too late!!

Still take them. YOu will love them and you can use for picture projects (eg Table numbers, photo card box etc)

I think that you should take them! I mean come on 35 years from now.. you will say that picture was take 3 months before our wedding!

definatley do them , me and my fh didnt take ours yet because we just wanted a couple of pics for our save the date so we will go to there studio and take them

we arent taking our epics until april or may since we live in FL and didnt have the time to do it with TP before he was done for 2007. Its still included in our package and we are still going to have it done :) there is no RULE saying you have to have them done this far in advance :)
