Re: e-pics tips
I wasn't planning on tipping at all. My photographer is the owner (although I think he's brining an assistant). But...I'm paying 300 extra for them, so I didn't think I should tip....
Should I?????????

If your photog is the owner then the $$ is going in his pocket anyway.. Mabye just tip the assistant if you feel that it was worth it the day of.. I would just be prepared... As for how much?? Thankfully I havent gotten to that point yet so I'm totally clueless

This is also a good question... sounds like we are using the same photog too... I don't know the answer, I think we have to ask around!

Re: e-pics tips
i didnt think we had to tip. I thought that since it was included that it was already built into the price.

i didn't even think of this until she brought it up. since my photog is the owner i feel like i shouldn't really have to? we need an article or something to back this up!

Re: e-pics tips
I found an article on theknot.com about the actual wedding day. The general idea was that if they own the company - you don't tip. Idk about engagement shoot though. If they're throwing it in as an extra and you enjoyed the shoot - I'd tip them (just because you're going to use them again and you want to build a good relationship.) Maybe 50 bucks?

We r gonna tip prob like $30.00, I think. That is what my friend tipped her photographer for her engagement shoot.

I'm such a dumba$$. I looked at the topic title and I was like oh Kristy you don't need any tips for your e-pics, just act natural in front of the camera and the pics will look great.

Re: e-pics tips
I am thinking $50 should be fair
I have also heard if the person owns the company, then no tips, but I'd still tip anyway. You're receiving a service. IMO

I don't know -- I think I've decided that I'm not going to tip for epics. IMO, I'm receiving a 'service,' yes, but I'm also already directly paying for that service. Like, at a restaurant, we don't PAY for service; we pay for the food. So then it's good to tip for the actual service. For pictures, I'm already paying for them...so why pay again? I don't know, maybe that sounds confusing, but I'm not sure how to articulate it!! Again -- this is just my opinion :)
