E-Pix Location

Hi Ladies...

I have my e-pix shoot quickly approaching and I have clue about location. Right now, its looking like Long Beach (as long as it looks okay after the storm). I am, preferably, looking for something with no fee or cheap. I also like the idea of nature and city...like a nice park or beach but also some cool buildings or cobblestone paths, etc.

I am in Nassau but am willing to travel...any ideas??

we did ours in dumbo right by the brooklyn bridge
it had the water, a park area, the nyc skyline and also a cobblestone street where we took some pics

Did you need any type of permit or were you ever stopped by anyone???

Gantry Park in Long Island City meets all of your criteria. NYC skyline, garden area, park like area. We did not have a permit.

Is that what they told you? I see on the parks website that wedding photography needs one. Just curious b/c I don't want to encounter an issue the day...it would be just my luck!

i did mine at Long Beach and I loved the way they came out.

My photographer said that he always did them there and there was never a problem. We passed right by the park office and a lot of park officials and no one said anything to us.

this is really cute and the new park down there has some steps and benches and stuff to take some cute shots and then there is always the skyline in the background
