Re: E Ring
I only got mine cleaned because I was at a jeweler and they offered. Mine gets dirty really easily and is very hard to clean. I should probably just get some cleaner, the kind that I can soak it in. Does anyone recommend a brand?

Re: E Ring
I SELF CLEAN IT ABOUT EVERY OTHER WEEK. BECAUSE I HAVE A BEADED SET WHICH ARE DIAMONDS SET IN PRONGS & I DONT WANTTHEM TO LOOSEN SO I TRY NOT TO USE A BRUSH TO IT. BUT I GET THE STEAM EVERY 2/3 MONTHS. USUALLY IT HAS A GOOD SPARKLE ON ITS OWN.

Re: E Ring
I do the old toothbrush with a little soap and hot water trick.
Also, my parents have an espresso machine so I use the steam part of it to steam my ring. I do it every two weeks.

I do that with my other jewelry, but the setting on mine has a design on the back which prevents a brush from getting anywhere near my stone.
Any other suggestions?

Re: E Ring
I know this sounds nutty and i thought it was nutty at first too but I was using soap and a toothbrush and my jeweler told me NOOOOO to use windex!!! i was scared at first but the cleaner they use is amonia based, which so is windex. So i put it in a cup and i soak it for about 20 min in windex and then i run it under hot hot water...OMG sparkle's like crazy!!! I try to get it professionaly cleaned every 3-4 months but the windex works amazing!

My jeweler told me to use Windex too, but ammonia free windex, because ammonia can damage the white gold/platinum. He said to use one part windex and one part warm water also to dilute the windex a bit.
I usually get it cleaned everytime I'm near a Kay Jewelers LOL...which is often

Re: E Ring
I do about once a week with the cleaner the jeweler gave FH... I think it's called Conniseurs? They sell it at CVS or Target too, it's only like $5.
