E-Ring Compliments

Who was the most random person to compliment you on your E-Ring??

This weekend FH and I went food shopping and the woman behind the register complimented me. I was happy that FH was there when it happened b/c he is the one that deserves the recognition... he did all the work!!!

I was buying a gift at Baby Gap and the woman behind the register complimented me on it.

I work as a sales associate at a childrens clothing store in Manhattan and I havent gotten complimented once but while working a shift at one of the other stores in White Plains, 3 different people complimented me. I was like wow, the people are so different up there.

I think I have everyone topped.

OK...this happened yesterday.

I was in the exam room at my surgeon's office for a post-op checkup. My friend called and we were all giggling about my wedding. The nurse comes, I tell her and show her the ring, and she goes out and gets another nurse. Then the surgeon and his nurse come, and I am sitting there with my BOOBS OUT FOR THE WORLD TO SEE WHILE MY SURGEON IS MASSAGING THEM AND 3 NURSES ARE STANDING OVER ME PULLING AT MY RING AND BOMBARDING ME WITH QUESTIONS

2 Weeks ago we were with some friends in IHOP upstate and a waitress came over and asked me if I needed a sling to hold up my arm/hand.
I didn't know what she was talking about until she called over another waitress and said 'look at thing, its hugh'.

I got so red.

and

a few months ago we were in a diner and the waitress asked me if it was real and then asked FH if he has a brother.

The guy I signed the contract with last night complimented me on it while i was signing the contract (prob cuz i had my hand out on the table and had just shined the crap outta it before leaving the house)

I told him... 'and he picked it out all by himself' and the guy seemed impressed with fh's choice

a waitress at Friday's when she start introducing herself she stop talking and compliment my ring and we start talking and everyone at the table was like.... hey what happen to the menus.... It was fun b/c it was exacty one month after I got proposed

sitting drying my nails this morning and htis old lady was like 'Oh, your engaged?! What a gorgeous ring' she then proceeded to lecture me on why 2 years is too long ot be engaged...argh!
