When you get insurance for your ring are there different plans?
I guess my question is what happens if, God forbid, you lose the ring? Do different insurance plans have different policies? Are some better than others?

Do it - it's definitely worth it! Go sit down with the person that does your car/homeowners etc. and they can lay out all of the options. It's not that expensive per year either.

its definitely worth it -
I have state farm for auto - but they dont do personal property insurance - they put your e ring as a rider to your homeowners or renters insurance (which I have neither since I live with my mom) so I went to state farm.
you have to bring the appraisal with you.

it is def worth it!!!! I got mine insured through the appraiser originally...but since we bought our house it is covered under our homeowners insurance now. get that puppy appraised and insured asap!

I def will get it insured. I was just wondering if there are different policies...like what happens if you lose it? Do they replace it, give you money,etc?

it works like car insurance - there is a deductible, then you get a check for the amount of what they value the ring at -

We have it!! I highly recommend it. I am not to sure if different companies have different policys, I know that with mine, if anything happens to it then we will not be out of luck.
