they are great there... they do it right infront of you, its also a learning experience. and i think it was only about $125 for the appraisal

Re: e-ring insurance???
you should definitely insure your ring. we insured mine through chubb since they were recommended by bluenile (where my ring is from). also, my FH had a great experience getting my ring appraised at macy's in the city....he was really impressed by the lady who helped him and i believe it was under $100. good luck!

Re: e-ring insurance???
My ring is insured through our renters insurance with Geico, who we also use for our car insurance.
I believe our renters insurance is about $250 for the year.

Re: e-ring insurance???
u definitely need to insure your ring. Take it to an appraiser and then send the appraisal to an insurance company. We have apt insurance and we added on the ring to the policy

Re: e-ring insurance???
Mine is insured through jeweler's mutual. Our car/rental insurance guy told me NOT to add it to the renter's ins. because only a portion of it is covered (like $500) -- not sure why -- but the jewelry ins covers it ALL.

Jewelers Mutual. You need an apprisal first. FH went to Linda Shop in massapequa. I think it was like $50. (it was $100 to set and appraise)
