E-ring insurance..

does everyone have e-ring insurance?

Yes i got it a few months after we got engaged and i;m so glad we did it was not a lot of money it is based on the value of your ring. I have mine through jewlery mutual.

I did... like 2 days after I got it. I got it right after I got it appraised. I am using Jewelers Mutual. Its only like 130 or 140 for the YEAR! Its totally worth it... you dont want to chance it.

Yes fh gets insurance/warranties on everything you have no idea!

Yes, got it appraised and insured right away. It's insured through Jewelers Mutual. It only costs like $180 per year.

Yes. FH had it appraised when he bought it. Faxed it all over to insurance company the next day. It was very easy.

I answered no but i plan on getting it insured asap. I've had it for 2 weeks and knowing me something will happen.
My FH and i don't live together yet so i think my mom is going to put it under her homeowners insurance and he is just going to give her the $ for it until we get a home of our own.

Unless you're super rich or your ring was super cheap, you should get it insured.

I haven't YET but I am going to do that in the upcoming weeks. I am worried about losing the ring, I am worried about the stone falling out. It's happened to many people I know including my mom.

My FH got it appraised and insured the same day he picked up the ring. I got the insurance information mailed to my house soon after the proposal. It was great. He did it through Allstate - it has all the coverage. It seems like its a bit more $ than the other company mentioned.
