E-ring with miligrain lines?

I met with a jeweler over the weekend and he told me that because my ring has miligrain lines at a 45 degree angle on the sides of my ring, I probably won't be able to wear a wedding band on the same finger without damaging it....anyone else have this issue? I'm so upset, I really wanted to wear my wedding band with my e-ring

mine is pretty much the same as yours and i can't wear the two together either

i told FH i was so upset about this that i needed a bigger wedding band to compensate

i dont have that issue but i just wanted to say how beautiful the design is on your ring!!

I don't have milgrain lines but because of the position of diamonds on the underside of the ring, my jeweler didn't want me to wear them on the same hand either. I was adamant that I wanted to, so as a compromise they got me a really thin third band to wear as a cushion protection between my e-ring and wedding band. At first it felt like a lot on my finger but I'm used to it now. I don't know if would work for your wedding band?
