I love my e-ring, but with any wedding band I will have a space and I don't like the way the space looks. I knew from the start I didn't want a custom band with a curve in. FH picked up my wedding band yesterday and I am in love with it. I am going to have my e-ring re-set so I don't have a space. Does anyone have a clue how much re-setting rings cost? I think I may need a new band, but I would be trading in my old one.

Re: E-ring/wedding band
I'm happy that you found something you liked. It will probably only cost the labour involved.

Do you think it could be done for $500 or under?

YES! But, It really depends on where you go and what you are having done. If they are just putting your stones in a new band it really shouldn't be that much. Get a quote from a few places before you go. And I think if you go back to your original place they will give you a deal since you already spent $$

Thanks! I planned on going back to the place that both the band and e-ring are from. I think I am going to go this week so I can get a quote and then have it done over the summer.

Re: E-ring/wedding band
My rings fit weird together, and we shaved down the prongs on one side of the ring so now they'll fit evenly. It cost like next to nothing. If its more oddly shaped you may have to find a new band with a different setting, but most jewelers would just have you pay the diff in rings, so its up to you on how much it costs :)
