E-Shoot...did you do your own hair and make-up?

During your e-shoot did you ladies do your own make-up and hair? I'm not sure whether I should- everythings soooooo expensive!!

I am doing my own hair- just drying it straight because I want it to look natural but I am getting a makeup trial done for the pics.

I guess I might as well just do a trial on that day. Afterall, I still need to figure out who I want to use.

Having my makeup done which I guess will work as a trial and having my hair trimmed and blown out

I had my hair trial the night before, so I just took the top down and had my hair down in loose curls (yes, it stayed in overnight! ) just combed them out with my fingers. Then I had my makeup trial that morning!

We kept our pictures casual so I did my own hair and makeup. It was really windy and my hair was a mess so I was very happy that I did not pay a lot of money to get it done.

I colored my hair a few days before and I flat iron it for the day of the shoot. I also did my make up myself, I wanted a natural look, so I went to MAC and bought some new makeup and it came out great (especially because I rarely do my makeup).

I got my hair blown out by my regular stylist and had my makeup done at a Mac Store.

I want to, but my shoot is at 11am all the way out east, and i live in NYC, so it's just not realistic for me.

Did my own hair but had my makeup done at Macy's Clinique counter... my epics were last June - a full two years before my wedding. If it had been closer I would have definitely worked it out so I had my hair & makeup trials that day!

I got my makeup done but ended up not having time to do my hair or just flat iron it and I really regret that. Try & get both done if you can.
