My FH wants to send out E-Vite Save the Data to all of our friends (those people who check their emails).
Do you think that's inappropriate?
(We're having a small, 100pp wedding)

I think that it is nice to send it in the mail. First off, who doesn't like receiving mail, and second, the purpose of SAVE THE DATES is so people can put it on their fridge, or somewhere safe, so that they will not FORGET the date.

Not crazy about the idea for 100 guest wedding... just your closest friends though is fine.

This may sonds totally naive, but I don't understand the point of an evite for a Save the Date.
Are you expecting a response or it sit just an announcement?
If you are expecting a response, it's probably to soon for one.
If it's an announcement I think that's best done on paper or in person.

i didnt want to do it, but we ran out of time and it worked fine. everyone told me they received the STD and immediately added it to the calendars. it retrospect, i dont think its as bad as I thought it orginally was. i dont think ppl notice.
