I have a very busy day tomorrow, starting with an early start at work, so here's tomorrows QOTD.
What has been FH's special request/must have for your wedding?
FH says he must have at least one case of Bacardi for the reception. It's the only hard liquor he really drinks. And our wedding is during Lent, when he usually gives up soda. He can't imagine not having a Bacardi and Coke at his wedding. He's hoping for special dispensation from his priest for this.
Feel free not to comment until the morning.

FH demanded a reese's PB cake, but because of peanut allergies of some guests we couldn't get that- so he thinks he's not getting it, but I got him a chocolate grooms cake with reese's filling :)
His other must have was the church. I didn't want to get married in the church, but wasn't opposed to it either. I just always thought i'd be nice to get married out a vineyard somewhere. But his must have (and our parents) was the church so we decided to have a traditional ceremony at our parish

Fh must haves: top shelf liquor. An amazing dj. Photobooth. And he is getting his custom made shirt.
He absolutely doesn't want video. Lights colored in reception room.

Fh has to have his fire trucks at our ceremony outside and his company there with the tools in an arch for us to walk under after our ceremony at the church. He also requested a photo booth which I was fine with.

This always makes me laugh, but FH loves cocktail franks/ pigs-in-a-blanket and he insists on having those at the wedding. They are not an option on the appetizer menu, and if our venue can't include those as one of the passed appetizers, he is going to ask his grandma to bake a few for the bridal suite. I just think it's funny and I want to see how this plays out lol.
FH's only must-have for the wedding was a band. There's a band we discovered 2 years ago that does a lot of weddings who we both LOVE and go to as many shows as possible, so we booked them!

FH demanded... ME lol
He really wanted a photobooth (which we got), The date (which we got), and his 'must have' DJ (which we got)...hmmn and He say's I'm spoiled! lol His requests have been easy so I'm happy to 'give in' for him.
His request was actually that we DONT have a videographer. He doesn't want to be followed around all day. He also wants specific beer. He's a beer snob.

We HAD to go with the DJ that his family uses for their events and he wants the guys to change into tux tee shirts after we are introduced at the reception.. Which I am totally fine with!

Hmm where do I begin? lol I will give the top 3... 1. Premium liquor (this is also my dad's thing, they are also bringing in a case of scotch) 2. Raw seafood/shellfish station at cocktail hour -- we upgraded for this station as well as a lobster station 3. No engagement photos -- he refused, so that's that... lol

His only request was that he was going to get a custom tailored tux. He said he doesn't care how much money he spends on it- he just wants it to be custom and look good on him.

Jason hasn't had any 'must haves,' but he did ask if we can have pigs in a blanket! Haha

FH insists that his friends not start 'heavy' drinking until an hour before the wedding ends. We recently went to a wedding where all the guys in the bridal party had thier ties around their heads, shirts totally unbuttoned, and pants rolled up to their knees. Needless to say, the bar had to shut down early bc they were such dranktards.

FH hasn't asked for anything. He liked the idea of having a roast pig at the cocktail hour because our families both ususally have that at wedidngs, so we got it thrown in. But he really hasn't asked for anything. He says he wants to do the garter toss which I'm not really fond of BUT i still have time to talk him out of it

He REALLY wanted bag pipers but we aren't getting married at a church. When I asked him about a grooms cake he said he'd love a Yoda one but doesn't want me spending the money...but I'm going to surprise him with one :)

FH hasn't really made any requests outside of wanting Asti Spumante for us to drink since that is our favorite.

FH only requested that we incorporate some Jewish traditions into our ceremony. I was secretly glad about this though because I think it will be awesome to have a beautiful Ketubah made for us to hang on the wall in our home and I read online that you can send the pieces of the glass that the groom breaks away to a place that will create a custom blown glass piece out of it.
