Early shower gifts

Early shower gifts

I have a quick question regarding early shower gifts that are arriving at my house (which is so exciting, by the way ).

I don't know when my shower is but do I send thank you's to those who I've received gifts from now or wait until after the shower?? I'm not sure if they sent it and will still be attending (more convenient) or if they're not attending and that's why it was sent so I'm a bit confused. I was thinking of thanking the people that I actually see informally in person, and maybe sending a formal thanks to all after the shower?? Anyone?

If they are for your shower i would wait until after the shower to send a formal thank you. Hope that helps

It's totally up to you. I have gotten early shower gifts this week and sent the thank yous right away. I just know I am going to be busy next week writing out thank you notes after the shower.
