I would call to thank them.. or send and informal little note to acknowledge that you got it... but you will still have to send a formal thank you with pic after the fact... so I wouldn't go crazy!

Yes, I would send them an informal TY now so that they know you received it. Then after the wedding I would send them a formal TY that has your picture.

yes...send it now...this way it's done and you don't have to remember it later...that and it's possible that they give you another gift...some people send 'early gifts' that they see as engagement gifts and give a weddign gift later/at the wedding.

I've been sending my official thank you's when i get the gifts. i send it now, and don't have to think about it later. however, i don't think i'm sending pictures to everyone after the wedding, just thank you's.
