What should I do with some of the checks we've received as wedding gifts? Do we deposit them now or wait until we deposit the rest of them? I'm afraid I'm going to lose them being that our apartment has been a complete disaster zone lately!!

Deposit them now, AFTER you send your TY. The TY should be sent before the wedding.
My mommy always taught me, you can't have the gift until after you send your thank you. Our e-party TY's were in the mail 6 days after our party. After we went to the post office we went to the bank to deposit the checks.

Deposit them and immediately write a thank you... This will also save you time after the wedding if you've already done the 'pre-wedding gift' thank yous.
