East Coast Band???????

East Coast Band???????

We are seriously considering this band. Anyone have any reviews - good/bad/otherwise????? I haven't seen them live yet because I am in Seattle, but I have their DVD and they seem pretty good. They also seem to be reasonably priced. We want a band that can do 40's (Sinatra, etc.) and Motown and 'classics' mostly without being too 'in your face'.

The guy from the band, Paul, has been emailing me (he seems like a nice guy and is very responsive without being pushy) and he suggested that I ask about them here, which is sorta funny.

Anyway, THANKS in advance for your help!!!!!!

We looked at them when we were deciding on a band. They were really good. Paul is such a sweetheart. We didn't go with them only b/c of personal preference, we like the lead singer's voices in the band we chose a little better. That's it.

Same here - I know a Bass player that started with East Coast that has played in a bunch of wedding bands and as he says 'You can't go wrong with EC'......

We also went with another band due to personal preference but, East Coast made it damn tough to decide..... Just a Great Bunch of people.

Thanks - that is really helpful. Who did you both end up using?

We went with Full House. Their songlists are very similar.

Hi I just FM'd you back before seeing this post. The lead singer gets into the crowd and sings with the people dancing alot. so that would prob be considered in your face. I LOVED that though it was so much fun. SO thats a personal preference. Also you guys are scaring me! Ive never heard of a Paul im dealing with a John!

I am using East Coast Band and I am so excited-they are so talented and they really get the crowd going-I sing so I am very picky about singers' voices, pitches, etc. My fiance and I saw them live 4 times (they play at a br near our apt in NYC). Linda, Tom, Paul and the other lead male singer are all wonderful. You should definitely book them!
