East Islip area brides?

Anyone else from around here? If so, any local vendors you'd recommend? I hate to travel more than .6 miles from my home

I'm from the area and was able to accomplish a ton locally. I purchased my dress from Bridal Suite in Bay Shore and my mom found her's at Angel Bridals on Main St. in E. Islip. I bought my invites through AHRC in Bohemia, booked with Legend Limos in Central Islip, and registered @ Bed Bath and Beyond in Bohemia.

We only had to travel a bit for BM gowns, flowers, and photographer. A lot was also purchased / booked over the phone!

Funny! My mom got her dress at Angel Bridals & I got my dress & all of my girls dresses at the BS of BS! Other than that, though, I went to The Wedding Center in Commack for most of the other things. I work in Hauppauge, so it's easy for me to run there during lunch & after work...

Sorry - I don't either. I wish I could help, but I'm just getting our bouquets at the Wedding Center too since we're doing candle centerpieces...good luck finding someone though

I heard good things about The Perfect Rose. I went there on Saturday and spoke to Tina and she was really great. The florist is included in my RH package and I would have gladly used them, but I needed to upgrade and really didn't want to spend the extra money. I went to them to see what she could do while keeping the prices down and she really worked with me and came up with beautiful options while totally staying in my budget. I'm looking forward to seeing the samples and hopefully booking them if the samples look the way they sound.

Im def. going to Angel Bridals....someone I know got their gown there and had problems with the slip or something and the lady who works there actually came to the church to help her with her gown!!! Once I heard that, I decided my dress is coming from there....especially since my church is across the street too!!

As far as flowers, Im going to check out Pathey/Flowers by Chazz. We always get roses from there and they are always HUGE and last for days...and they are ridiculously cheap!!

I am from Bay Shore and I got my dress, my girls dresses and my moms dress from Angel Bridals! Invitations I went to Only You Personalized Gifts in Islip. Otherwise everything else I did not stay local for.

Flowers by Chazz is right down the road from me. Let me know how your appointment goes because I was thinking of checking them out. My fiance gets my Valentine's Day flowers from there. Their roses have always been fresh, gorgeous, and long-lasting.

Angel's Bridals is really cute and the women in there are super nice. Also, there is a florist in the area that is owned by friends of my sister's fiance. Melbalala used them and RAVED about how great they were Good Luck!

My mother and grandmother got their dresses from Angel. They are super awesome. I didn't get my dress there as they couldn't match the price of Phylis.
