East Northport Hotels?
I am getting married at Larkfield Manor in East Northport, and since I have a lot of out of town guests, I need to have a few hotel recommendations for them. I have blocked rooms at the Hampton Inn, but am looking for some other hotels, as close as possible to E. Northport. I am from Queens, so I am not familiar w. the area, so any help is appreciated, thanks!

I'm from East Northport - there aren't too many hotels near by. We blocked rooms at the Smithtown Sheraton and the Howard Johnson. They are both about 15 minutes from the Larkfeild Manor. Are you getting married at a church? If so, which one?

There is also the hotel located in Centerport off of 25A. The chalet ??????If you head West on 25A from the northport area, pass the thatched cottage, and it is on you right.
We checked him out, and the prices are reasonable.

i grew up in centerport...and I always thought of the chalet as an hourly rate place ;), but one of my neighbors got married and booked rooms there and it turned out well.

Re: East Northport Hotels?
I grew up in East Northport too, and there really arent many places. The first one that came to mind was the Commack Motor Inn
But that is not a place for them to stay. I will think about this and keep you posted.

Thanks ladies, any help would be appreciated. I had a feeling that there were not too many hotels in the area, so I will check out the Sheraton and Howard Johnsons, any other suggestions are much appreciated

Re: East Northport Hotels?
go to www.switchboard.com and look for business by category, choose hotel/motels, and do it by address. when you put in the address of the hall, it will give you a listing by distance.

Yikes! Commack Motor Inn is an hourly rate place isn't? Don't they have a 'Jungle Room' and some other sort of theme room? FH grew up in Commack and would always make a comment whenever we drove past it....

Eek, OK Commack Motor Inn is out
I am going to check out the other ones though. I have to drive out there to see how far the Hampton Inn, Sheraton and Howard Johnsons are from Larkfield Manor. I am hoping they are all in relatively the same direction, since I am renting buses and dont really want them driving all over the place.

I grew up in E. Npt and my church is there. My whole wedding party is basically from out of state. I'm having everyone stay 15 min away in the Marriot on Rte 110 b/c they gave us a great group rate (1/2 of the regular rate!!). There is also the Hampton Inn on Commack Rd by the LIE. Or the Smithtown Sheraton - good luck!

Re: East Northport Hotels?
Thanks all for the great hotel suggestions. I have blocked off rooms at the Hampton Inn and the Sheraton. They are not cheap ($125/night), but they are only a block away from one another, so the bus I am renting can drop everyone off easily. Plus, the Sheraton has a bar thats open until 130a, in case we want to continue the party
I cannot thank you all enough for all the wonderful suggestions. I may look into one more (less expensive) hotel around the area, am driving up in the next few weeks to check out the bridal suite at the Sheraton. Welcome New Vendors
