Does anyone know if the town of East Rockaway has that silly rule about no parking on the streets between 3am and 5am?
I know that Rockville Centre, Lynbrook and Malverne have it .... not sure what other towns though?

I know Valley Stream has it....and FH just said he thinks East Rockaway does also.

yuck!
we are starting to think about looking at co-ops after the holidays and some of them only list 'parking space' .... we have 2 cars .... so that wouldn't work
its such a silly rule!

you can NOT park in East Rockaway over night.... and beware.....if you do.... the ticket man will visit....if you drive through town early in the morning you can identify all the dirty stay outs by the bright orange tickets on their cars....lol....

its such a silly rule!
my fh and i looked at co-ops in east rockaway. a lot of them do not have spots. you have to pay 300 plus for a parking sticker for each car to park in a lot.

Yes, they have the same rule as Lynbrook. I literally live on the border of the two towns (last house in Lynbrook on our street) and I pass the huge 'NO PARKING' sign every day on my walk to the train station.
I hear they enforce it, too, so you almost will definitely get a ticket for doing it. I've yet to leave the car on the street overnight myself, though.

The no parking rule is in any town that is an incorporated village. I grew up in RVC so I actually like the rule.
