I just booked my wedding at East Wind for April 2008. I would love to hear from anyone else who had their wedding there. So far, we have been incredibly impressed by everything being offered. We are meeting with the coordinator there next weekend and attending the expo on 2/18. We had been to a wedding there a few years ago and loved it. Now I am curious to know about the total experience from some other people who have gotten married there and if they used the vendors suggested or went another way.

We booked our wedding at the Estate at East Wind last year and I couldn't be happier with our choice. Every time someone hears we are getting married there they also have nice things to say about it. I am very excited!! You should check out the Bride's Review Board- there are many EW brides who have written reviews!
I met with the coordinator when looking into their house photo and DJ vendors- we ended up booking with other vendors, but everyone was extremely helpful.
I am also possibly going to the expo on the 18th as well...one of BMs loves going there

I have never been there for a wedding but I go for Easter brunch every year and I have to say everything is amazing!

I just booked East Wind for my August 2009 wedding so I can't help in that respect but I can definitely share in your excitement along with all the other brides who are booked there.
I've been to two weddings there, one of which I was sitting at the dais close to the bride and grrom so I could hear them talking to the Maitre'D and she was so attentive. Even at the rehearsal she was so responsive, had a back up plan for everything and always kept her cool and both weddings were beautiful. My senior prom was even at East Wind and it was a night to remember.
As a bride who also booked I can say they are willing to work with you on ANYTHING!! And everyone I've talked to so far has been so pleasant!! I'm so excited for you and happy planning!!

YEA East Wind!!! I'm getting married in 57 days there...and so far they have been great with everything! My sister also got married there and it was a great experience!

A number of '06 girls got married there and posted a wedding review - October Bliss, MrsH11506, MayBride06, etc. Try a search. They all posted photos and many of us attended these weddings and have photos in our community albums!

Second question: The house vendors I used were Serenity Limos and Rogers Tuxedos. I had a hair trial with one of their vendors who also turned out to be my mother's regular hair person and did not use her. I visited Flower Michele (too $$$$), but not With All My Heart. I got my invites through my DOC so I didn't use their vendors. As for DJs, we LOVED High Voltage and booked him before even finding out who their house vendors were.

EastWind was the first hall I went to and as soon as I pulled up, I got the most amazing feeling of the place.
