East Wind Brides?

FH and were all set to sign our conteact for Westbury Manor but on a whim went to East Wind today. Now FH wants to book East Wind.
So East Wind brides... why did you choose it?
If saw it and didn't choose it then why?

Would have booked East Wind Estate on the spot but our wedding wasn't big enough! We could have had either sides of the Inn or the Country Gardens. Country Gardens was BEAUTIFUL but just didn't seem big enough for us and I didn't like the options for the ceremony in the event of inclement weather. The Inn didn't seem private enough for us. But EW weddings are amazing, the service is incredible, and the food is great no matter which part you book!

i was looking at a bunch of other places and we were passing east wind and on a whim went in and booked it the next week.
I felt like every other place i went i kept comparing it back to east wind. I'm booked at country gardens- just love the grounds, love that its small, quaint and its own seperate space, plus has a hotel, resturant, bar and a spa at the main building. oh and the food is great!
HTH- Good lUck

My brother got married at the Estates and it was flawless. They got married outside under the amazing arbor. The cocktail hour was phenomenal. The food was great and they even came around with seconds during the reception. I liked how the tables surrounded the dance floor. And their staff were really great. None of us wanted for anything. SIL had nothing but a good experience with them.

Would have gotten married there if my brother hadn't. So glad he did because feel like Riverview was the perfect fit for FH and I and probably never would have checked it out.

Never been to WM so I really can't compare experiences.

My sister chose East Wind in the garden section and let me just tell you, it was something out of a movie. The ceremony and cocktail hour location were gorgeous in the gardens with the flowers in bloom, her pictures were gorgeous and she was within a couple feet of her cocktail hour. The Inn was right next door so they took her over on a golf cart and it was so convenient for getting ready and then getting to our rooms afterwards. Her maitre d and attendant were fantastic as well.

I definitely recommend it.

We would have booked the Estate on the spot but we wouldn't have made the minimum, and we were too big for the Country Gardens.

Re: East Wind Brides?

We looked at about 5-6 places before East Wind. Timber Point was at the top of our list and we had even done a food tasting there. But something in me said to just keep looking. When we drove up to East Wind I got butterflies!! This was the only place this happened. We loved the country gardens - perfect size for us and still gave us the feeling of one wedding at a time. A few of our college friends are in the BP so I wanted somewhere with guest accomodations so that we could hang out afterwards and not worry about OOT's driving to hotel. It was the first place that I couldn't stop thinking about!!!
Good luck!
