Hello Ladies!!! We are having our reception @ The Estate on March 12, 2011. I went to the bridal showcase today 1/9 and was informed by my dj(Tommy Tunes) That they changed the ballroomby painting it white. I had NO IDEA. Noone ever called to inform me or sent me a letter or email. It was an aweful way to find out. I didnt start crying till I got into the ballroom. I'm 8 weeks away from having my wedding and now have to go back to my florist(Country Petals in Peconic) to rework my centerpieces. I had picked low smaller (mostly purples and plum) centerpieces bc the room had so much character. Now, I dont know what to do. Any suggestions would be great... Thanks Ladies!

What are you girls doing for a bridesmaid brunch/luncheon? Or if your not doing that, are you doing anything as a thankyou to the bridesmaids? Also, what else do you have planned out east for the wedding weekend?

I live in Riverhead so I dont have big plans. I am hosting a brunch for my BM in May. Im not doing a brunch or anything because of another big family function happening the next day.

My fiance walked into the room and was sold by the bar! The dance floor will be all new to, which is nice! Also you can do any color because of all the ivory!!
I booked the same room...all the ivory made it glow compared to the other rooms, i have a question, do u know where they do the cocktail hr?

They do the cocktail hour on the area above the stairs and spreading out to the veranda outside (if its nice out). They set up tables on the west side of the upstairs and the food tables are set up at the north end. HTH

The spa is offering it or the inn is, I'm not really sure. But their website is displaying it all over and I was wondering if anyone looked into it or signed up for it.
