East Wind Brides- Take Pics where????

Hi Ladies- are you taking pictures ONLY at East wind?
We are getting married there as well- so no limos are needed-

BUt is there somewhere around there that you ladies are going to take pics????

FH thinks we should just stay at East Wind- the grounds are so beautiful but i just dont want to miss out on somewhere else out there-

I am doing pictures there only as well. But I am getting married on a Sunday afternoon so there is no time to go anywhere else for pics.

If we had time I would probably go to a near by beach. But the grounds are so BEAUTIFUL that I don't think you will need to go anywhere else- they really are gorgeous!

We got married at the East Wind and took our pictures outside there. It was so pretty!!!

There is a place I beleive a little down the road from there but we did not want to leave.

O thank you ladies- i feel SO MUCH BETTER now- cause FH kept telling me that we shouldnt go anywhere else-
but every bride getting married at different RH's always have another photo spot so i just didnt want to miss out on anything....
i'm so excited cause it really is so PRETTY there- i went there on sunday to pick up direction cards and just walked around- love it!

I have great pics from the Stair case and all over the 3 floors of the East Winds main building. It was pouring on my wedding day so I never went outside!

oooooooo KIM i got teary eyed watching your trailer- your hubby cried when you walked down the aisle- thats SO CUTE.....
and I never saw the second floor balcony at East Wind- GORGEOUS pics on there!!!

I am getting married at East Wind and I have about 3 hours inbetween my ceremony and reception and if the weather is nice I was told there is a beach close by and also a few parks that. Here is a list of parks that are located in the Town of Riverhead.

No problem!! The stairs going down to the basement.. where the spa is,.. is great for pics too
Don't forget that there is an out door ceremony area too.

thanks for the link- I checked out wildwood State Park- its REALLY close to East Wind- there is a beach but its a far walk down a huge hill and no cars allowed down there- go see it before you make up your mind and ask if you need a permit- i wanted to do pics there but i cant imagine hiking up a HUGE hill in my dress in the heat!

We are getting married at East Wind as well. We were told we could take pictures anywhere on the grounds as long as there are no other events taking place. We are also not doing the limo route. We are in Country Gardens.

We decided that if we wanted additional pictures we would go down to the beach in families cars and take pictures.

Your photographer should know of the local areas to go if need be.

By the way what photographer are you using. I am in a toss up as to ADA or someone else.

I'm an EW bride-- we did a LOT of pics-- most at the church and at OWG (I know it sounds nuts but we had a lot of time!!)

We also took night pics at EW- and family shots inside. Here are some from there... ours are at night- so not too many options- but I tried to put a bunch of different locations so that you can see that you have options!!

I got married the day before my ALMOST date twin Kimbalina :) And also used Pennylane!! Not too many shots except the ballroom are in my same day trailer- but I figured I'd share--

HEY KIM- did you notice that on Adam's site there is a shot from your trailer for samples- and a shot from my trailer for learn more!! lol-- and we were only one day apart!!

I'm using Duet- look into there reviews on here- alot of girls really like them and their price is GREAT
